This past summer I was taking a trip out to Utah for a wedding. When Riley and Sarah found out, they immediately booked an early anniversary session with me. We planned a session and they drove from Idaho to meet up!

The weather was perfect and we were able to adventure and find some fun spots for pictures. I love taking my couples out to explore in the mountains, it’s a great way to get real and authentic emotion. Later we explored into a field of golden grass and it was the literal thing of dreams. I’m obsessed.

We had done their engagements in Rexburg, Idaho, celebrated their wedding day in Boston, Massachusetts, and we were able to do their 1st wedding anniversary photos in Utah! Basically we have been busy and I’m here for it!

I’ve been all over with these two and they have become my good friends. They put their wedding attire back on and we were able to relive their wedding day all over again! I’m the biggest fan of these two, and love a good anniversary session.

Some of my favorite places for anniversary sessions..

Mountains -especially if the couple is adventurous, we can have such a blast exploring and are able to show off their relationship

Grassy fields – put me in a golden grassy field and I’m set. Such a fun way to put all the focus on the couple

Lush green forests – just stunning pictures come out of this, seriously.

Lakeside – we get some gorgeous spots with tons of variety for locations, and you could totally jump in and get some steamy pictures!
